The task of the flanges is to hold together and seal the pump unit, the heart of every mixing and delivery pump. Flanges are used in the form of pressure and suction flanges. The suction flange sucks the material downwards and must be leak-tight and not draw air. The pressure flange must withstand enormous pressure. The rotor and stator are located between the two flanges. The pump unit is held together by the tie rods.
